Roles of
Chief Digital Officer
- Leading digitisation initiatives in UNIMAS through the use of data, analytics and digital technology;
- Creating a data-driven culture in the public sector that practices a principle-based approach through the use of data and digital technology;
- Transforming the delivery of digital services in UNIMAS focusing on customer experience based on the Whole-of-Government concept through innovation involving data sharing, open data and emerging technologies;
- Assessing, coordinating, certifying digital service requirements, technical service design and development budgets, as well as managing UNIMAS as implementers of digitisation initiatives and projects;
- Leading change through the Alignment of the Digitalisation Strategic Plan (PSP) of UNIMAS by: Ensuring UNIMAS’s PSP is in line with the Public Sector PSP and Risk Management and Change Management Plan; Ensuring UNIMAS’s Enterprise Architecture (EA) blueprint is available; and Strengthening UNIMAS’s digitisation governance structure and coordinating the use of policies, standards and global best practices;
- Reporting the implementation and progress of digitisation transformation to His Excellency the Chief Secretary to the Government (KSN) as Chairman of the Government Cluster under the Digital Economy Council and the National 4IR through the government cluster secretariat.
