Advancing Open Science in Borneo
Main Goal: The OPEN-ASIA project aims to boost the digital economy and connectivity in India and Malaysia by promoting Open Science (OS) principles.

Open Science Forum 1 (OSF1)
The Open Science Forum was held in Mumbai, India with a theme, “Unlocking Knowledge: Forum on Open Science” on 21st and 22nd March 2024. The forum was conducted in conjunction with the Consortium Meeting 1 at Mumbai, India.

Capacity Building Workshop 1
The Capacity Building Workshop 1 (CBW1), with the theme 'Collaborative, Responsible and Open Science Infrastructure Development', was organized as a part of the OPEN-ASIA project. It is co-funded by the ERASMUS+ programme of the European Commission. The five-day workshop was organized by Tampere University, Finland. The sessions were conducted across a span of two days and focused on the creation of an Open Science (OS) infrastructure to help participating institutes understand and exemplify the implementation of Open Science infrastructure in Finland, particularly at Tampere University.

Consortium Meeting 1
SVKM’s NMIMS Deemed-to-be-University hosted a conference on Open Science held under the aegis of the ERASMUS Open Asia-Boosting engagements in higher education institutes in Open Science in India and Malaysia, in collaboration with leading universities from across the world. The consortium meeting for the partner schools took place on March 19 and 20, 2024, followed by the International Conference on Open Science on March 21 and 22, 2024 at NMIMS Mumbai.
